There's already a progressive audience in red states.

Are these right wing talking points? I give the young lady her due for her win but she isn't the second coming. I pray that Dems remain steadfast and recognize that we should not allow seeds of division to take root. The right is afraid. Dems always embrace diversity.

Absolutely not. There are too many moderates that are socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Anyone like her will be a death knell to the Democratic Party and push away Republicans that are leaving their own party. This will guarantee DT victory in 2020.

@Ocasio2018 went to Kansas to campaign against a woman who has the chance to potentially be the first LGTBQ Native American Representative in US history. Seems she and@SenSanders are hell bent on helping@realDonaldTrump get re-elected.@DNC@TomPerez

& what is the justification? I'm fairly sure an openly gay Native American candidate holds reasonably progressive views.

Don’t know but she can certainly turn off democratic voters if she keeps hanging with Bernie.

The
#BlueDivide is real. The dems have ignored their supporters struggle for too long. By supporters, I mean the voters, the middle class, the poor-not the corporate special interests they've made a priority. The only way to win back the majority across the board is to#evolve -
Maybe a quick listen to the history of the modern party will help those who who don't get it. We need to embrace a progressive agenda or we risk losing *again*http://youtu.be/jsnTwv8qtNA

Ah. I think I do get it but don’t see it the same way. But I genuinely appreciate your sharing your view. Let’s all vote dem no matter what. Whatever our differences we all agree that the republicans must go, right?

No. Voters can choose, or

I think the grassroots efforts are having an effect on what the establishment left is planning to do. It may be lip service again, but if local elections are giving wins to more progressive candidates, they won't have a choice but to give us the legislation we demand.

-
What do you mean specifically? Is the establishment left the Democratic Party? If the party runs more “establishment” rather than “progressive” candidates will you vote for them v republicans?
-
They *must be* more progressive or midterms voters stay home. I won't vote for anyone who doesn't value our environment, education, healthcare for all, and wages that allow people to keep their dignity. A country with so much wealth shouldn't have so much disparity.
