There is NO legal expectation of privacy. Whenever you leave your house, you can expect anything you say or do to become public. Welcome to the world.

Yes, but this still doesn’t make it right for someone to do this.

yeah but he's doing that for his safety as well because you don't know if your gonna pick up a nice person or a murderer

Absolutely. I don't blame him, if you want something private then don't discuss it in an uber or lyft or any other public vehicle. Safety is paramount. He did get paid for some on line content though so that's not right in my eyes. Just my opinion.

Back when I cautioned people about putting all their faith in unregulated cab drivers putting legit cab drivers out of business...people laughed me out of the room...some were even happy a "#Market #Disrupter" was ruining people. Little by little we see I was right!

IMO, ride sharing companies are in the same bucket with taxis and should be held to same standards.

Unfortunately that's like saying "third world labor should be paid as much as regular labor". Then...there will be no point to it. Ride sharing only became viable because it wasnt as regulated, people didn't have to apply for licenses or make it their sole 8 hour a day grind.

Even if he claims this was a social experiment; no informed consent seems to have taken place, he made a profit and harm was done to his riders. He should be fired, not just suspended.

What I got out of this story ,living in Missouri you can not expect privacy, considering the law says it's legal to do it.
