One man shot and killed another in Florida during an argument over a parking space. He won't be arrested or charged because of the state’s Stand Your Ground law, the authorities saidhttps://nyti.ms/2zXIqYF

I was in Canada this summer in a fairly wealthy part of their world. Many are not making their annual winter trip to FL this year because of precisely this kind of thing. Perception drives decisions. @FloridaTourism @VisitOrlando

Depends on where in Canada you go. I live on the West Coast and we rarely get snow or freezing temperatures. 😊

I'm guessing that FL doesn't want people to travel there anymore. What a corrupt, backward State.

That is a LIE. It was NOT over a parking space. Perp came out, squared up, assessed situation, said nothing then w two hands he violently shoved victim to the ground & was prepared to continue. 100% justified Big man should have kept hands off little guy w gun! #FakeNews

Dear God this is awful. I understood the state’s premise regarding the questionable stand your ground law for private property, but to justify a homicide in a public parking lot? Sorry but that condones murder anywhere in the state.

Yup, He shoved the wrong guy. The black man was the aggressor, the white guy was a law-abiding gun carrying citizen, who simply defended himself from bodily harm.

The shooter aggressively confronted the victims wife. The victim had reason to fear for the safety of his family and stood his ground by pushing the shooter away. This was a murder plain as day
