Dan Coats seemed genuinely surprised when he learned President Trump would invite Putin to the White House. Yesterday, he played down his reaction.https://nyti.ms/2LfxcnP

Once again Coats has to mollify that abusive twit. I was appalled he and everyone else was laughing at the idea Trump tweeted he was inviting Putin to the WH! I see nothing funny about not discussing that w/Coats to intentionally embarrass him in public.

Dan Coats should have been one of the first to be informed about Putin's proposed visit to the White House. It was wrong that he had to hear the way he did!

He was probably chastised about his reaction so now he has to do an about face just like #45 did after the Helsinki debacle

I was disappointed in Dan Coats in playing down the reaction. I would have had so much more respect for him had he remained true to himself.

Because Coats was surpised - Trump's tweet came out of nowhere. trump wanted to show everyone that he would double down on the Helsinki Mistake ... by making another huge mistake. trump is an ignorant, mentally impaired person who can't carry out his duties.

No one should have to apologize for expecting the POTUS to act like he is the POTUS. Unilateral decision making while one has to consider a nation's security does not make any sense.

ANYobjective observer of the media manipulations, find obvious, the misrepresentation of CNN relate toDan Coats, words. He wasVERY respectful in regards to the meeting in Helsinki, only expressed surprise about the tweet, of invitation to President Putin,in a negative atmosphere
