Some Republicans have concluded that keeping their heads down without uttering much more than general statements about Russian hostility is the only safe coursehttps://nyti.ms/2zZHbIF

Our govt is set up with a system of Checks and balances. Unchecked for over a year, the fault of the GOP, it’s disgraceful & increasingly dangerous. How much money is tied to the NRA in the GOP along with Russia? NRA is awfully quiet re Butina arrest.

The notion of checks and balances is built upon the idea that each independent branch can be a check on the others. Hyper partisanship, intra party discipline, and one party control of all branches completely blows away that proposition. It’s a now a one branch government.

Silence=complicity. There are only two sides to this question. Every man must be for the United States or against it. There can be no neutrals in this war; only patriots and traitors. Stephen Douglas

A majority of Republicans have concluded that ignoring their oath to the Constitution to protect America from enemies both foreign or domestic while keeping their heads down in order to cover their own asses is the way forward. They are, in fact, willing collaborators w/ Putin.

@HouseGOP & @SenateGOP for ten years-plus you have misrepresented all of your constituents in a irresponsible partisan manner; putting your @GOP party first before the stability & security of our country. Now your actions enabling & protecting @POTUS will addressed in #MidTerms
