        Americans have sorted out that it is the death of liberty, a constant driver of personal oppression. It's unsustainable financially and responsible for the deaths of countless millions of people over the centuries.

        But even this is not entirely true: the 'top socialists' or apparatchiks never share their commrads' misery. They all have huge guarded mansions, big secret accounts in Swiss banks, their children study in the best private colleges, etc

        No, for example, look at West and East Germany before down of the wall. East Germany was under communism and West Germany under socialism. Which did prosper with good economic and social development?

        West Germany was succesfull by far, but was under Capitalism system and rules of free market with social oriented politics but still capitalism.
