I work 4 10 hour days, it takes me just about an hour to get to work. I love the 3 day weekend but the 4 day week can really kick your butt. And it is even worse if I decide to work a 12 hour day or two. Not to mention age and body milage can catch up with you after awhile.

Most other NZ business owners would experiment with this long enough to prove that people hadn't been trying hard enough over 5 days if they could do 5 days work in 4. Then they'd roll it back and use it to put the screws on their employees.

Why? Just do 4, 10 hour days. Actually saves the company money. Keeping machinery running an extra 2 hours each day for 4 days is actually cheaper than running the whole 5th day.

Like I said, most places that do that run Mon-Fri 8 hours. But sometimes make the change to run 10 hours Mon-Thurs instead.
