A good parent doesn't put their kids in that situation to begin with. Get in line, come here the right way. If I break the law and have to go to prison my kids don't go with me. This fake outrage using kids as political pawns is so stupid. #eatadick

Not for the reasons they seek. We can deny aslyum for any reason we deem worthy. They were caught outside of crossings so they were not seeking aslyum the right way they asked after the fact. They intended to sneak in.

How are we going to teach empathy to the men in this country? A majority is still eating up this President's abject cruelty and disgusting behavior.

would think ripping babies and children away from their parents would outrage all of humanity - so guess that doesn't include the R Congress and donald

Wow. Wonder if Black mothers can get any of that oveeflowing empathy for Black children gunned down on the street or targeted for lockup.

The Times article says the bond price keeps going up. Do you know why? Seems like that could be stopped if a judge & lawyer are available.

Don’t break the law and expect no implications. How can illegal immigrants think they can move ahead of legal immigrants and get preferential treatment? Why should we punish law abiding people and reward law breakers? Makes no logical sense. Emotional only!

Immigration requires some kind of better, general solution. Children caged with their parents isn't much of an outcome either. Maybe just not offer them any government services until they pay taxes.

A truly heartbreaking situation for both the parents and children. Very similar to the pain felt when the New York Times celebrated the official declaration of an apartheid state
