Israel passed a contentious law that anchors itself as the nation-state of the Jewish people, promotes the development of Jewish communities and downgrades the status of Arabic from an official language to one with a "special status"https://nyti.ms/2NtbSI9

So now it officially recognises itself as an apartheid state. And we all know how that'll end.

France is the official home of the French people and requires French to be spoken. Does that make France an apartheid state? Stop singling out Israel.

Discriminatory laws that bypass all fundamental rights of one group in favour of any particular one other is not the same as linguistic requirements that most countries already have for entry and education purposes, even my own. #EndIsraeliApartheid #BoycottIsrael #BDS

The #trump administration has made the situation worse by not reprimanding #Israel for their actions. Only to make the point that he is reversing an #Obama policy stance. #Netanyahu is disgraceful!

Israel passes a law that anchors itself as a right wing theocratic apartheid state, codifies discrimination against Arab citizens.

Why stir up more tension? How is this supposed to bring parties to the table? This is about Netanyahu play the Trump card... appealing to the religious far right to deflect from criminal investigations.

I still remember working with Palestinian refugees in St. Louis years ago. Must their culture and place in history be erased? How sad.

When people used to accuse Israel an apartheid state, I’d point out that Arabic is an official language of Israel. So thanks for taking that argument away.
