“My family would not have been able to afford to put me in soccer if I was a young kid today,” said Hope Solo, a former World Cup champion. "Soccer, right now, has become a rich, white-kid sport.”https://nyti.ms/2zLOy6k

I guess you don’t watch soccer that much. A score is a reward, but the most entertainment aspect of soccer is passing, techniques and that is what fans enjoy the most.

My son, and many others quit soccer when they started to use tiny goals. He had a hard shot, could hit top corners, and a top scorer. Scored about 8 goals a year with 12x6 goals. They went to 4x6 - he scored 0 goals. He was frustrated and traumatized.

Oh yes @hopesolo,rich kids of color are in the same condition than white poor kids. You, the liberals who have reached a point beyond misery cannot leave your miserable and racist mentality. The logic that you use to correlate elements is patethic or despicable

I think that the US mens national team made a mistake in firing Klinnsman. He had limited success but he had some long range plans which he was never allowed to implement so they took Arena for short term success but no WC. article in SI explains it best:https://www.si.com/soccer/2018/05/16/jurgen-klinsmann-us-soccer-world-cup-usmnt?utm_source=twitter.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=social-button-sharing …
