The California Democratic Party's endorsement of Kevin de León was the latest of several triumphs for liberals in Democratic primary elections this yearhttps://nyti.ms/2uqqros

300 party elites went against the will of 3 million primary voters in a closed door meeting to endorse the guy who lost by 2.1 million votes in the primary? How is this a victory for liberals? SHAME ON YOU NYTimes & #CADems!pic.twitter.com/XQwTiTyTOq

"Liberals"?? I'd suggest MOST Democrats consider themselves liberals, whether on the left or center of the party. The Bernie crowd does NOT get to co-opt that assignation, any more than they get to co-opt the party they denigrate at every opportunity.

Wait a minute. Sen Feinstein absolutely thrashed him in the primary and he barely made the runoff. He has almost NO chance of winning in November. Unless a state party endorsement decides the nominee, endorsement is meaningless.

California #Democratsareunited behind Kevin de Leon--we dind't snub @SenFeinstein-- we chose a candidate who is more in tune with the state and who has gotten things done in CA--minimum wage, immigrant protection, worker protections, climate change, and much more. #Change2018

The voters chose Feinstein. We will choose her in November as well.

The primary electorate is very small and much more conservative and Republican. There were maybe 30 names on ballot. In November there will be two names and hopefully Senator @SenFeinstein agrees to a debate so voters can make informed choice.

The party’s heinous endorsement of deLeon simply saved me thousands of contributions. Now I can focus my donations on specific candidates- REAL DEMS WHO CAN WIN instead of donating to committees who may fund scorched earth fauxgressives or DSA hacks. #ImWithDianne

Seems as if a few are imposing their will on the majority. Not sure how that’s different from what those few have been whining about.

What an idiotic tweet. You people have lost the plot entirely. SHE WON THE PRIMARY. De Leon getting the endorsement of a tiny self-selected group is not a "triumph," rather it's Fauxgressives running amok for a minute. It will have zero impact in November.
