A perp with a gun tried to pull out the gun from his waistband and was shot by the Police. One less dangerous person and a gun are off the streets. Perhaps this was actually a parade.

Residents are angry after a man is justifiably shot by police but aren’t angered as dozens are shot weekly by drug dealers and gangs. That’s why the problem isnt getting fixed in Chicago.

Is this the same shooting that AP and my local cbs radio have been reporting that police body cam shows gun, two magazines, and bullet? Your headline is gunning up anger and it was made hours after that info became available. How about a clearer headline.

There is a good reason NYT has been labeled FAKE NEWS. Here is a perfect example of click bait headlines to deceive because MOST people won't click, just run with misleading headlines. #DraintheSwamp #CorruptMedia #FakeRage #FakeNews

God bless the protesters who refuse the state's injustices. Throughout history they have always been demonized, and in hindsight we have always been show that was wrongheaded of us. When will we learn?

"he tried to push their hands away" Chief Waller said. "He started flailing and swinging away, trying to make an escape. "As he made an escape, he reached for the gun." "The police recovered a semiautomatic weapon from the man"

It's funny all the sudden people can't read or ask the right questions. WHY WAS HE APPROACHED IN THE FIRST PLACE? Because they saw a bulge. It's a conceal and carry city and he wasn't doing anything illegal. Since y'all apparently only know 2 amendments try looking up THE 4TH ONE

Yeah, but under Illinois conceal carry law he is required to to cooperate with any police officers investigative stop and provide his CC permit. So, IF he were a CCP citizen then all he had to do was present his CCP and he would be alive today. But instead he chose another path.

This is what makes you so angry?? What about the 1000 among 1000 that are killing each other daily in Chicago? This was self defense from what I’m reading and I could be wrong and if I am I stand corrected. Last weekend alone 4 killed and 14 wounded where is the outrage??

        1. That doesn’t fit the agenda they’re trying to push. 2. People killing each other in dangerous neighborhoods isn’t shocking. It’s not news to anyone and isn’t going to get them their precious clicks.
