Should read “CPD murdered a man and then beat his neighbors and community organizers for daring to say something about it.” Because that’s exactly what happened.

for you, "we" is yourself and like minded individuals who have MAGA shirts in their profile pic and lick any boot they can find on sight. You and I are not "we".

I clearly was asking about the “we” in your comment. I want to know who are the people who think attacking police officers is “Justice” and them “fighting back.” Id like to know so I can stay away from them and make sure they aren’t dealing with my children. That is why I asked.

Looks like the guy was trying to escape and reached for his gun, the the officers fired in self defense. That seems like a natural response . If your life is in danger, you take the other guy out first. I would be interested to know what he was doing when cops approached him.

Yes, I also know that the CPD is not a reliable source. Look up the murder and cover up of Laquan McDonald. Look at Jon Burge--his legacy continues. Also theres this. At a certain point you have to stop and analyze how reliable your sources are.http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/watchdog/ct-chicago-police-shootings-no-gun-20160914-story.html …

So these cases out of the almost 3,000 murder cases Chicago has each (3,500 in 2017) year negate the validity of any account CPD may give for a crime?

Where is that number from!? Where are there 3,000 murders a year? Last year was about 650 in Chicago. Also their homicide clearance rate is 29%, and is the false confession capital of the country so they dont really know what happens there eitherhttps://wgntv.com/2017/07/24/getting-away-with-murder-wgn-investigates-the-citys-alarmingly-low-number-of-solved-cases/ …

You think that negates the officer's account of the shooting? It may be a bad shooting or a good shooting...you don't know either way. You only know the police shot someone and that means it was a bad shooting. I would rather have proof before ruining someone's life.

So many lives are ruined. A man is dead. He had a family. A 5 year old child that was already dead. He was well known and loved in his community. This was not far from my home. I am thinking of the community in pain. The other person killed a person and was ushered away.

Everytime I turn on the news I hear of a new initiative or March organized by Chicago youth to fight gun violence in their community. Oh & last weekend thousands of Chicagoans marched to protest gun violence in their community & Rahm's inactionhttp://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/breaking/ct-met-dan-ryan-pfleger-violence-protest-20180706-story.html …
