I have many. What genre? Do you prefer easy reads like YA or thought provoking reads? (Both can be *awesome!*) or, if you prefer try out http://goodreads.com  for many recommendations, deals, and book giveaways! @goodreads

Ok! Old school would be like Great Expectations by Dickens. It’s a great way to look at if money makes you a good person or not. Really shows that wealth and social standing is not necessarily the qualities needed to be a gentleman / lady.

Of course, another one I read not too long ago had me really questioning vanity in humans and the lengths we go for them. Ugglies by Scott Westerfield. Made me think about it for days.

And if you like more educational but thought provoking w/o a story line, I recommend Father Hunger. It’s about how women often wind up with ED and how that can relate to our relationships withfathers. It also has some historical and social looks at marketing towards young women.

Happy to help! I do honestly also recommend @goodreads. I find soooo many books on there and my friends joined. I get to see what they are reading as well as some content from my favorite authors. I found a few series that I LOVE using this website!

It was a much needed vacation. I love reading. Like yourself, when I read a book, the world vanishes and nothing else matters! If that makes me a nerd, well then, I’m a proud book reading nerd.

yeah, just so blunt 🤕 and I so want to believe that reading helps adults recapture the spirit of possibility rather than act as the reminder of defeat.

Awe! You just need better books! Bilbo Baggins was asked to go with Gandalf when he was 50! I know, not even the same. But so many books can also be thought provoking in other ways, simple adventures, thrillers and more.

Of course! Sci-fi and Fantasy are the real realm of possibility. #realtalk #realmtalk I finished the two books of the Kingkiller Chronicle series👌 and have since been reading a lot of Charles Stross.

^^ I go through fazes. Current faze is fantasy / romance. Something hawt about lore creature hookup and romanticizing. Earlier this year it was Jane Austin kick and I can now say I have read all her books. Pride and Prejudice wins and Sebse and Sensibility needs to die.

Though, think I am going into a Jim Butcher faze and I just finished The Cursors Fury and have gotten the next few books in the series from the library. Time to read Jim butchers “Pokémon meets Roman Empire” it’s surprisingly creative and very good! But no wizard Dresden!
