Seriously! From what I saw he didn’t “appear” to ignore her he IGNORED her

I was under the impression harassment was a crime, and that it's the job of a cop to stop crime or apprehend those who commit crimes

Plus he stalked her and tried to put his hands on her several times. Also, public intoxication is illegal.

Let's see. Kirstjen Nielsen was harassed, Mitch McConnell was stalked and harassed, Pam Bondi was spit on and I don't recall anyone being arrested for any of it. Spare me your tears

I wasn't aware those people were actively asking for help from a police officer

Probably "resigned" means back door early retirement, home free, to probably collect a pension without any kind of reprimand. I mean, the man just stood there, making it abundantly clear that he didn't give a rats add abiut the whole situation.

Resigned?? He should have been FIRED and nothing else is acceptable. This is NOT tolerable in any shape or form. This endorsement of not firing this individual reflects as acceptable compliance on that organization. PERIOD.

He resigned so he can still keep his benefits and retirement. If they fired him. He’d have nothing.

It broke my heart each time she asked for his help & he looked away. She kept her cool but must have been so terrified feeling like the verbal assaults would turn physical and knowing the cop was ignoring her pleas & letting it go on.
