China has been vocal about its desire to build electric and driverless cars. German automakers are happy to help — while gaining a bigger foothold in its huge automotive markethttps://nyti.ms/2uf50H1

China will make counterfeit crap cars, think the opposite of a Japanese car

Who knows? Keep in mind that "Made in Japan" was considered a sign of poor quality in the 1950s, as was "Made in Germany" in the late 19th century. The quality of Chinese goods may very well change, too.

The Chinese don’t have the ethics to make a good car, they just rip off and copy, they are thieves. They have no culture of ingenuity just a culture of counterfeiting.

BMW and other German automakers haven't found a way to make their regular cars as reliable and technically sound as the Japanese models. I don't see this as a promising development. BMWs are still mechanical nightmares, & far too expensive to maintain.
