As a consumer, are you concern / worried about a trade war?

Trade wars hurt consumers the 🌎over & reduce world growth as consumer spending drops. Many of these consumers r customers of US manufacturers and retailers. + a trade war makes US’s allies its enemies & US has enough of those already

No, it could well be a 🌎wide recession. Once a war starts it’s hard 2 turn it off. Plus trade deficits by themselves are neither good nor bad in the long run. U also have 2 look at direct investments that surplus generating countries make in US creating jobs & new industries

Everyone loses in this silly game except the one who started it. He and buddies know ahead of his "twitter" announcement of tariffs. High possibility that some "informed" parties have gained significantly from shorting the market ahead of the tariff tweet and again on exemption

He who has the power to make market moving news with a single tweet can benefit greatly. Only two things can stop him from abusing that power...the LAW or HIS INTEGRITY. The former isn't working, the latter is non-existent! What can you expect from a "ME FIRST" businessman? #USA

The rules have changed, the old logic no longer applies. Investment in the portrayal of New Zealand as the gourmet kitchen is an urgent priority, but we will prevaricate and hang grimly on to individual company and organizational interests whilst pay lip service to the obvious?
