In Opinion, “President Trump’s contention, that women need access to formula because of malnutrition, defies both science and common sense: the overwhelming balance of evidence tells us that breast milk is the most nutritious option for infants, by far.”https://nyti.ms/2KJgi0h

Trump is stupid. Breast milk is the best for an infant. It is nutritious nd delicious. Its taste changes from feed to feed nd it contain lives cells that kill bacteria. It has immunoglobulin that give protection against many diseases.. I pity over the American for electing Trump.

I physically had no milk produced. I am quite thankful I had the option of formula. Breast is best. Feeding your baby is the only thing that truly matters

Remember the Nestle baby formula law suite? Remember China using melamine in the forumlas? Money does NOT trump the safety of our children.

God made brest milk for babies; corporations made baby formula for profit. Any questions?

In all fairness- not all babies have access to breast milk so formula needs to be a back up- but not a first choice

He’s right. A lot of women can’t breastfeed or just don’t have enough nutrition in their milk. Parents should do the best for their child, not just keep pushing on wishfull thinking.

The vast majority of women can nurse.... and no one is denying access to formula. What is your background/expertise in terms of breastfeeding? Are you a pediatrician? Lactation consultant? Nursing mother?

What if you just don't WANT to nurse? Stop making women feel inadequate and guilty for their choices.

So what about the mothers who can't breastfeed cuz a baby won't latch? Or women whove had mastectomies? Or any of yhe other plenty of reasons why women cant breastfeed? Dont judge a woman because she cant. Hell don't even judge a woman if she just doesnt want too!

Infants also receive passive immunity while nursing...that cannot be simulated thru formula supplements

Baby formula fails in 2 major aspects : developing immunity in newborns and satiety that a baby gets from suckling on a teat. The first helps the pharma industry, the second helps the plastics industry.

You apparently don't understand the word "causation". The study you linked is correlational. It actually shows an *increase* in eczema for some compounds. It also does not compare the immune systems of formula fed babies to breastfed, it includes only breastfeeding mothers. Fail.
