Hmmmmmm one of the two countries in the world which don't offer paid maternity leave rejects policies that would improve mother/baby health? Truly unheard of.

For those wanting to understand more, I wrote a thread when it was happening. It’s not about individual choice re how to feed one’s baby. It’s about public health vs. private profit and the Trump Administration’s preference for the latter. https://twitter.com/lucymsullivan/ …

Sigh... only 2.5 years left. Most of us are really sorry about this disastrous term

Now is not the time for optimism.

Easier for them to take babies if they are on Formula and don’t need their Mom.

And done by people who claim to own the mantle of caring more about babies, families, and life itself than anyone else

Bunch of hypocrites in the @GOP@nikkihaley How much did Nestle lobby/bribe you all? -
Since banning abortions in associated with an increase in abortions as well as dead mothers, I don't think they can even take up the mantle of caring more about unborn babies.
-
Oh for God’s sake
-
"For God's sake" what? For God's sake we all need to be more liberal so babies and women can live and be healthy? I know, right? And people keep using God as a reason to NOT let women have equality, education, and health care, thus threatening more babies. It's messed up, right?
-
You're missing the whole point that banning abortions DOES NOT lower abortion rates, so restricting legal abortion does not stop the ripping of babies from wombs. Your stance, in fact, leads to more abortions.
-
I don’t support banning abortions. these problems r multiple administrations and it’s time to give people back the power of choice. I breast fed and so did both of my daughters who were shamed at the hospital for refusing formula. I’m a real mother I don’t play one for votes
-
I couldn't breast feed for medical reasons and was grateful safe formula options existed but I think our nation taking a stand against supporting breast feeding education is ridiculous. Nestle and other corps worry about profit not safety of babies.https://www.theguardian.com/sustainable-business/nestle-baby-milk-scandal-food-industry-standards …
-
We have been fighting Nestle for years! Some great research has been done over the past 25 years! Ironically the far left shamed women who nurse. I do not understand why anyone would be ashamed of the beautiful way our female body was created to nurture life.

The science is in on this: Human milk is better for babies (and mother). Promoting formula reduces breastfeeding rates

-
It also helps reduce the possibility of breast cancer. I've done it for a total of 7 yrs. I used a tube to supplement cause I didn't have enough supply.
