25 years in the office. The one hack I learned was: Do the most annoying thing on your list first thing each day. The rest of the day often goes smoothly after that.

This is one of the reasons you need to get up and walk away from tasks for at least 10 min every so often so you give your mind a break or else your mind will take a break for you..lkl

If you finish the most important tasks to faster life becomes boring and probably short. So that's why people like problems and do as much as they can to avoid solutions. It's written within human nature(brain),to keep going on...with problems. Solve one when another is waiting

The nytimes does a story about doing less important tasks lol. Guess the story about some new drug or vitamin that will help with this disease of doing less important tasks will come soon. When they get paid to do a story to promote this new drug or vitamin!

Alternatively, the brain is also capable of reordering the importance of the tasks and if at first you don't succeed, then that low urgency/high importance task can be downsized - Why Your Brain Tricks You Into Doing Less Important/More Urgent Taskshttps://nyti.ms/2zmzVWW
