Good riddance to a locust named Scott Pruitt. Sadly for those of you in Congress who enabled his rampage by abdicating your duty, this departure closes the door on your opportunity for redemption. You’ve set a new bar for government ethics, and we‘d need shovels to fall below it.

What's the lesson here? That it's ok to strip America for parts and sell it to the highest bidder while stealing everything that's not nailed down as long as you're nice to people?

I think what you should've written about here, is why such an embarrassingly unqualified, gazillionaire hack gets a position like this in the first place; and instead of normalizing this bullshit, ask why we allow loyalty and money to trump experience, ideas and civil service.

Just a bunch of Billionaire Republicons Draining the National Treasury. He walks away with Billions of our Taxpayers Money. Yet poor people go to jail for lesser crimes.

Perhaps it should be focused on Pruitt’s ‘diminishing relationship’ with morals. Of course, this is presupposing that Pruitt possesses any moral code at all. Seems to me his fall is due to blatant corruption, greed, ineptness, lack of integrity and unfitness for the job.

Yes, if he had only gotten along with his staff he would still be in office wasting even more taxpayer payer money, because that wasn't the real problem. If only he would have been nicer to his staff when he accepted bribes for political favors it would all be ok.

He dug his own grave. When under a microscope, don’t do stupid things. You need to be squeaky clean under these conditions. Time for new blood. Hopefully his successor learns from his mistakes.
