Many of the Islamic State's senior leaders have been killed. But American intelligence and military officials warn that the group still holds sway with a potent appeal on social media for adherents.https://nyti.ms/2u2mZk1

Maybe it would help if the United States were not the worst wager of aggressive war and the worst violator of international law in 70 years?

We drop a bomb every 12 min today. Same as yesterday. Same as last week. Same as when Obama was president. We know nothing else. Until Congress and our media is replaced by humans and not corporatist shills fighting to protect the war machine, this is our lives.

Unfortunately for the ignorant, illegitimate Trump and his cast of racist, right-wing rejects, you cannot defeat an ideology by military means. ISIS will reconstitute itself into other forms. They will likely be more sophisticated and more dangerous than ever...and so it goes.

Isis is about an toxic ideology .... they will have many takers . However it’s funny too see how liberals out of ignorance and zeal for virtue signalling end up supporting this very toxic ideology throwing the majority of Muslims under the bus .

I don’t think that’s something that “liberals” do. That’s something most Americans do. And the rhetoric regarding Islam, in general, comes from the right most of the time.

Our leaders have it all figured out. They are paying IS to fight in the Middle East for us. In Yemen and Syria. Then we stand back and preach to American citizens about how bad IS is while the US govt sends IS our tax dollars. That’s how we’re fighting.
