Least you mention how she strived to escape Hitler and his #Socialist agenda, the very same agenda that has been looming over #AMERICA for a few decades due to #MediaPaidToCoverUpCorruption singing the song of #Democracy, unconcerned with the hidden "values" they were executing.pic.twitter.com/VlnBat13Ax

We really didn't take many Jews in at all, the country didn't want to. National security, distaste ror refugees... Just like we've hardly taken in any Syrians throughout their crisis. Or how we did nothing during the Rwandan genocide. Or the current Myanmar genocide.

We also wouldn’t allow Asians to immigrate for over 80 years. No one seems to care to mention that ever.

Remember when you reported on this 11 years ago and part of the reason they couldn't get visas was due to the possibility of Otto Frank being blackmailed by the Gestapo into being a spy for the Nazis?https://www.nytimes.com/2007/02/15/world/europe/15iht-frank.4597896.html …

Situational ethics can be used to support any irresponsible or responsible policy but this is why the asylum laws shouldn't be circumvented in case they are really needed.
