To quote FDR: “Democracy cannot succeed unless those who express their choice are prepared to choose wisely. The real safeguard of democracy, therefore, is education.”

This is the mismanagement by elected officials to be fiscally responsible with the alloted money in their districts for education. This is one reason some kids rebel and act out in society. If this is what they think of you as a person, what good are you anyway? Fire them!

because education is powerfully dangerous to “priviledged” people who want hold on power from one generation to another. It is easy to lie and control the fools. Remember Trump “Obama birther”? Millions believe him

That’s wrong. Completely. In fact public education was created to supply the workforce with a constant flow of basically educated people. It was an idea of the “privileged”.. when all memebers of society attain the same status there is no leg up. A bachelors becomes worthless

But with anything government ran, it becomes a disaster. Instead of blaming it on universities for jacking up prices, you blame it on the government. It’s as if the education system indoctrinates you as it steals your money through taxes and tuition.

Watching people come out the other side touting socialism and preaching violent activism makes you wonder if universities shouldn’t be cleaned out as a whole. It should be an apolitical system designed to teach you the material you signed up for, not indoctrination.

Just as Amazon has indelibly reshaped the retail landscape with web-based tools, the public school system has to come to the realization that the day of a brick-and-board school is coming to an end, and an internet platform has to be built in its stead.

It is a state constitutional right in North Carolina, though the Republican-controlled legislature ignores it with impunity, as it does so many constitutional provisions.
