"Ms. Merkel is not perfect, but she is measured, calm and rational. Germany and Europe would be worse off without her," said a political scientist at the University of Kielhttps://nyti.ms/2Kwlp3T

I am so proud to see Merkel so competently take the reigns of world leadership. She is one competent, brilliant, pragmatic leader. Would have loved to see her and Hillary together leading the Free World, but still glad somebody sane is in charge. @realDonaldTrump #ImpeachTrump

I like her and I think Trump's disicion was done to quickly for them, it should have had an adjustment period . She is handling it well for the stress she must be under . She also has an imagration problem that from what I've read has caused safety issues to her people .

Deciding by herself to open the door to 1M+ migrants overnight is not measured, calm, nor rational. She's as much to blame as anyone for the current western right-wing nationalist backlash.

Yet, who created the chaos that sent these high amounts of refugees? Putin. I don't have russophobia, but it is clear that Putin is behind lots of the bad stuff going on in the world. Europe can deal with the migrants that came. The fake news creating fear is harder.

NO such thing as 'russophobia'.. your fear of Russia is entirely rational. Putin is always up to no good, a given. But the way Merkel decided what's good for all Europe by herself -and the scale- was reckless beyond belief. Of all western leaders, only Trump has helped Putin more

Sweden, Turkey and Poland have been at war with Russia more than anyone else. Sweden went to war with Russia 10 times. We Swedes have, if not fear so at least "beware of Russia" in our genes. But I get your point...😁https://www.rbth.com/arts/history/2017/01/02/which-country-has-fought-most-against-russia_662003 …

Tiny Sweden was a mighty superpower. "Do you not know, my son, with how little wisdom the world is governed?" (Axel Oxenstierna, Lord High Chancellor of Sweden in a letter to his son Johan written in 1648). The words were intended to encourage his son in peace negotiations.

Saab is doing very well. Car division went down the drain, but that started when General Motors bought the car division. Actually not all true. Saab cars struggled all through the years. Very few profitable years.

If only she sent her right-wing coalition "partners" to where they belong. They would be much better off with a green partner than with a brown one.
