European carmakers have turned Alabama, South Carolina and Tennessee into auto manufacturing powerhouses in recent years. Yet being major employers in regions that voted heavily for President Trump has not protected them.https://nyti.ms/2zaJaJP

How stupid is this? Tariffs=taxes=drop in sales=job losses=drop in spending =recession. Congrats you have just completed Econ 101, a course that @realDonaldTrump flunked.

The thing to do when voting is selecting the people who will do things that benefit you. And that should be based on sound reasoning, not solely on emotional reasoning.

One thing is for sure, southern whites will vote against their best self interest as long as they feel superior to minorities! They'll cut off their nose to spite their face! What type of mentality and IQ do you have to have to do that to yourself?

Good and when they try to apply for unemployment they will realize Republicans want to take that away too, and when their employer health insurance is gone they’ll find out that Medicaid and snap aren’t available. Oh well

Obama's policies killed Saturn, which was actually worth saving. Hypocrisy much?

Choices were made, and since the Saturn plant in Tennessee was non-union, and since his union pals HATED THAT FACT, Saturn was the first to go...and that's a fact Jack.

They bit the hand that fed them. Trump came in with his over the top promises, and they love it. Stupid asses didn’t realized that they would be affected by all the bullsh$t decisions he makes.
