Rhino horn has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years. The Chinese are responsible for extinction of many animals.

What's the reasons the northern white rhino is functionally extinct ?

I thought it was fairly obvious? There are only females left - no breeding can occur. Therefore, it is functionally extinct.

Idiot. We can not survive without a diversity of species. It is not in our make up. We grew up with them and we will die without them. What we can live without is the moronic self-interested humans who can't see past their nose in their short-sighted elementary thinking.
