Here's an idea to get them out quickly and safely. Build a watertight capsule just big enough for one person with air supply. Then mildly sedate one boy at a time and put him in the capsule. Have at least two Seals guide the capsule through the cave water and carry it on dry part

Just get the crew that drilled the Baby Jessica well hole to Thailand. About time we had a feel good story.

How deep is the cave where the group is from the surface ? Rescue holes have been bored to save miners after explosions or mine collapses . Don't know if it would be practical in this situation. Great job by all the rescue personnel from all over the world.

This is a terrible ordeal for these kids and I’m hoping desperately for a complete and happy ending, but only found a mention of “rite of passage” as to why in the hell the coach would allow them to do this! Caving is dangerous. Did the parents give permission?

During the World Cup no less! These kids have shown real tenacity and we read that they’re still not out of the cave yet. However successful this team-building field trip has been so far, the coach should get a red card for putting these young players in such a tight squeeze.
