An overdose death should not create a search for someone to hold accountable. Addiction is awful, brutal. We need to begin treating it with compassion not criminality. The person also needs to be ready to accept the assistance but jail is not the answer.

The only people that should be held accountable for the opioid epidemic are big pharmaceutical companies and the politicians that accept bribes from them.
