We really need a national drug manufacturer for generic drugs so we don’t run out of meds and we can keep the cost affordable for everyone.

Well the major producer of morphine were factories in Puerto Rico. Since the hurricane it’s been more difficult to get the meds. That’s why there’s a shortage.

Well, I remember, when our healthcare was wonderful, before Obamacare. Let's go back to those days. It was much better.

Um. That would make the problem worse. Less insured people would lead to ER visits going up, which would exacerbate this problem. Learn to think critically instead of trying to bash liberals for every waking problem in the world.

It might be better if you both read the story and found out the real reason behind all of this.

If we get away from socialized medicine and let the private sector do it's thing our healthcare system would work better. Get the government out of healthcare, end regulations, and it will encourage more companies to expand make the products we need.

The issue has nothing to do with any of that. It's an issue with the factory that makes the drugs.

so many things about our medical system make zero sense. the tone here is that drug companies like Pfizer are victims somehow. it’s absurd. along with our food system we are primed for collapse. will Canada or Mexico be willing to feed and treat us, after trump’s insults?

But we give Israel $140 billion dollars handout. 750 billion dollars to build bombs and missiles. Tax cut for the rich. Teachers spend money out of their underpaid salaries to buy school supplies, doctors running out of medicine. Makes sense?
