Why does the most liberal state in the country have the highest poverty rate and the highest number of homeless? Why did someone have to create an app to track feces on the sidewalks of San Francisco? Why do tech workers need to dodge dirty needles on their way into work?

I know, how dare they house their citizens in houses and apartments instead of letting them sleep outside on the street?

perhaps the owners should take a little less of the cut, they already work in a system that are based on tips

I will never understand the appeal of San Francisco. Worked there for one summer and it sucked.

So it begins. Soon teachers, cops, firefighters etc.. will also not be able to afford to live within commuting distance. Then the technbros will have to move on.

Good. If it happens fast enough, housing prices will drop in time to save the city from them.

When I lived in San Francisco in 1995, my rent was $590 for a studio on Pine-Lower Nob Hill. My power bill was $12. Weed was $50 an 8th (some things get cheaper🤓). My fast pass was $20 bucks. I got paid $9 an hour (a lot then) as a clerk at Ace On Polk, and went to College.

NO WAY could I live there now, go to concerts weekly, work part time and school full time and survive. #IMPOSSIBLE without outside help.
