This is literally an article about people on the left who want to get rid of freedom of speech. I dont think I need to even provide evidence of their hatred of the 2nd.

I see a few commentors here stating that free speech does not absolve an individual from repercussions, with the implication leaning towards the legal sense. Free speech does not grant a citizen asylum from another fellow’s societal indictment, as ...

that would infringe the latter’s constitutional rights. Free speech grants one the ability to say whatever they please, without legal consequence, but not without social penalty.

In this nation, an employer may relinquish whomever they wish. If the individual finds the cause of their termination to be unjust, the issue can be taken to the company’s Human Resources Department, or our judicial court system.

This is an insane piece. It's so confused as to what free speech actually is. Equating changing attitudes to pornography to relinquishing free speech? And the passing of hideous legislation against women and gay people as a victory for conservative free speech? Silly article

Free speech is absolutely essential. However the far right thinks that also means absolution from consequences for exercising that right. Free speech doesn't mean you get to say heinous things with impunity.

In regards to this article it you are right. I'm by no means a constitutional expert or anywhere near it but it really feels like they are bending the spirit of the 1st to push through partisan rulings.
