Reading the comments. The visceral hatred for a volunteer lawyer injured by the government while helping an innocent toddler is appalling. You defile everything with your MAGA-nasty. It’s further confirmation I chose the right team.

Wow soooo many people are quick to defend physical violence by "authority figures". The more you defend it, the less people who will be around to defend you when you're the one being knocked around by the authorities.

Her client “a 3-year-old”. That’s just awful
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

I call BS. Needs money to represent. Not like her “client” can pay. Where is the mother?
-
It’s almost like you’ve never heard of pro bono work

-
There isn’t enough money for this type of pro bono work. She’s young with a small law firm. Get real.
-
It's not just this lady. I've seen a bunch of lawyers offering pro bono work for the children in this crisis. Kids this young have no way of defending themselves in immigration proceedings.
-
Maybe the 10,000+ kids sent across the border alone by their parents should be charged with abandonment and child abuse. Parents here in the US are charged for much less.
-
Because we decided to send them off to private prisons at taxpayer expense in order to line their pockets? Yeah, no, this practice needs to end, and the sooner, the better.

This is what is called "an accident". It's usually not news.
-
Yeah, I push people over all the time. "Sorry it was an accident" works every time!
-
BREAKING:
#NYTimes reader denies the existence of accidents to preserve the reputation of his favorite former newspaper.

When an ICE officer tells you you can't go in a building, you can't go in a building. You can be arrested for not obeying a member of law enforcement. Maybe she needs to go back to law school and take a refresher course.
-
Sometimes it is just wrong to push someone down and break their leg, you know. Just don't do that. And it's also wrong to seperate children from their parents. Just don't do that.

-
Police officers can use force when someone disobeys them. That's the law.
-
First of all, force needs to be the last resort. It also needs to be appropriate. That's what the law says. This was not appropriate. Also, the lawyers had the right to speak to their clients, which is why the ICE agents let them in right after the incident happened.
-
So this was completely unnecessary in the first place. These agents don't give a damn about the law. They do what they want. And the president is encouraging them.
