As a former teacher who didn’t want to join the NEA, and was pressured to, im fine with it. Supply and demand dictates teacher salaries. As it should.

How naive! have you seen what "right to work" states pay their teachers? have you seen the working conditions? Have you taken a look at the salary & working conditions in charter schools? Private schools? Unions are the only thing that levels the playing field.

I have worked in Title I schools, formerly all African American schools that were desegregated & elite private schools. I have friends who have started charter schools, I have friends whose kids go to charter schools. I have an M.Ed. from Harvard. Unions perpetuate bad teachers.

Dummy. Union workers are taxpayers. Get ready to lose benefits because your employer is going to cut that AND your wages. Have a happy 7 hour week.

Well so far since the tax reform bill companies have been passing out bonuses, benefits and pay hikes. Your disinformation has no teeth. With unemployment at 3% companies will continue to offer more. Americans are more informed in The truth than ever before🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸KAG

I was forced into a shop union, and they used my dues to fund Democrats. I quit. Not everyone can quit, I could. I despise unions. They take care of their officers, not workers.
