Considering how horrible a go this government is having its not far-fetched. If Democrats refresh their messages and some candidates they snatch up a large percentage.

We are following the same trendline we'd been on for six years and someone, largely using fake outrage, convinced 62M people that we were doomed.

Do people honestly not fact check the bs he says? Just last week he hit his own record of outright lies yet people are still ‘He’s doing great!’. How naive and scared of the world do you have to be?
-
For all the bluster and rhetoric, conservatives seem to be afraid of every-gd-thing and every-gd-one. Black, Muslim, Mexican, Canadian?, Arab, LGBT, etc. Easy to stoke into a frenzy and why so fanatic about guns.

Well said.

It is a shame that the U.S. is so divided, that the leadership is literally using democracy to vote in an anti-democratic authoritarian agenda. Donnie makes no bones about pushing a populist agenda, attacking core institutions, citizens.
-
Democracy in crisis is when the leader attacks allies, & promotes violent dictator & hostile foreign gov. When Conservatives want to maintain their power & social status which is really what it is all about.

Quick question: Do you have to register before the election what party you are going to vote for? I don't really understand your "democracy" system. In Sweden, where I'm from, your vote is a secret. Unless you want to talk about it, of course.
-
It depends on the state you live in. Some have “closed” primaries where you can only vote of the primary in which you are a registered member. In these cases, selecting a party to be a member of is part of the process of registering to vote.
-
In other states, there are “open” primaries, where there isn’t party registration and when you go vote in a primary, you decide which party’s primary you want to vote in.
-
Some states are also “semi-open”, meaning that if you’re a member of a party, you can only vote in that party’s primary, but if you’re independent/unaffiliated, you can pick which primary to vote in.
-
And then to make this even more complicated, California has a “jungle” primary. All candidates of all parties run against one another in the primary, and everyone regardless of party votes for one of them. The top two candidates advance to the general election regardless of party
