This item is the most frequently found type of trash littering our beaches. Can you guess what it is?https://nyti.ms/2MoPmQ9

I love vacationing at the beach and I am saddened by the amount of trash I find. Bottle caps, cig buds, sandwich bags, etc. The beach isn't a giant ashtray! Don't get me started on why you can't see your toes in 6 inches of water!

Used to be shopping bag and cig butts but I suspect it is condom nowadays. Condom is used by 4 billions trashing 70 billion latex/wk. Cigs butts are 2rd. Shopping bag is third and many people re-use it for various purposes -- cutting the number that goes to the trash

Cigarette butts is my guess. Look down anywhere you are in the world, the most beautiful waterfall, Beach, building - it doesn’t matter. People litter the world with this disgusting and addictive habit, the most irresponsible litter our air and our Earth with their filthy habit.

Enforcing laws against trash on beaches and dog poop on sidewalks disproportionately impacts marginalized communities - particularly communities of color (COCs). Check out the stats on which borough has the most dog poop complaints to see. Yup, it's da Bronx.

This seems like a nonsequitor. Better statistics would be rate of noncompliance with the ordinance. If everybody in area A complies and nobody in area B complies it doesn't make the ordinance disproportionate.
