I was seriously into this post until I read the addition of American cheese😩

There's this restaurant near a US army base in Daegu, South Korea. They make a spicy ramen with chicken breast and topped with a processed cheese slice. It's amazing. I never buy cheese slices except to drop one in my ramen once in a blue moon.

Then you haven't seen enough Asians. Where I live, cheese ramen is always a regular dish in Kimbab restaurant.

For the love of all that is holy, if you’re going to turn instant ramen into a heart attack in a bowl, at least have the decency to do it with ACTUAL CHEESE

But does “actual cheese” melt properly? I doubt it.

The new cup of noodles seem to have a lower sodium content making the fake waxy noodles more apparent.

One other good way is to get oriental flavor, put in a spoonful of peanut butter and then some shariaci (sp) sauce. It's pretty good.
