The yield curve is perilously close to predicting a recession — something it has done before with surprising accuracy — and it’s become a big topic on Wall Street. Here’s what the fuss is all about:https://nyti.ms/2MjPJLJ

Every Republican President since Teddy Roosevelt has presided over a recession everyone of them. There will be one coming under #Trump possibly 2020/21. Get your finances under control lower your debt. There will be no Government help this time around. #MAGA was a con job.

Every time. Republicans milked the New Deal as terrible for decades even though it saved the country from the Great Depression.

Republicans campaign on fiscal responsibility, and yet data shows their spending is equal or greater than Democrats. All the checks and balances put in by the #Obama administration to prevent a '08 type recession have been removed by #Trump. Get ready it's coming!! #MAGA

You would love this, would you? As Bill Maher said, the only way to get rid of Trump is a recession, "bring on the recession!" as he proudly shouted. But do you care if Millions of citizens will suffer from this? I hope you do, not like Bill or other deluded, dogmatic Illiberals.

Doesn't really matter what someone does or doesn't love, what matters is that Trump's trade war and tariffs are causing problems, so how about focusing on that 🙄

Ah, you're the economic expert who knows for sure that Trump caused this trend? Simple reminder: Correlation does not imply causation. I have no knowledge on economics at all, this is why I do not comment on whose fault this is and what causes what.

I am not an economist. I don't need a yield curve to predict that a recession is coming. All you have to do is look at the policies & decisions made by this administration to know it cannot end well.
