Many have accused Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct, but he faces trial in only 2 cases. Should the other women still be allowed to testify?https://nyti.ms/2yQjq5l

The monster should be stopped in every way possible. So, this becomes Bill Cosby again? Allow not allow? Isn't it amazing that this creature has destroyed lives & back to is it enough? If I could prosecute this case, which those that know me know I would get it done. Get to trial

What does the U.S. law say? Is there something like a prescription? Here it's 3yrs for sexuall harresing, 20yrs for sexual assault or rape. How is the situation in the U.S.? Would it make sense if the other accusers complained to the police? Would it be relevant at the trial?

It depends but in cases like rape, each accusation gets its own trial because different evidence exists and crimes were committed in different jurisdictions. If you were defrauding a ton of people it would likely be one trial. Good question though.pic.twitter.com/7eW59TlQ5H

No because prejudicial. Just like in any trial the the prosecution cannot call up accusers of another crime that the individual has not been charged or tried for.

Only if the defendant is planning offer character witnesses under the "mercy" rule, if they do not then the prosecution cannot present character witnesses. If they were allowed and the defendant did not present witnesses it would be prejudicial.
