Maybe they should've stayed home, WITH their children. Apply to enter US legally, from their own country. (Crazy idea, right??)

Yep, people who break the law are often separated from their children. Just ask the 2 MILLION + Americans serving prison sentences.

Sorry to break it to you, but seeking asylum isn't a crime. It's a misdemeanour. So you can get back to the world when jay-walking is also punishable by a jail term.

For your info, a misdemeanor is still a crime. And btw, there's thousands of military parents serving our country in war zones. They're often separated from their kids for several months to years. So... how much "weeping" have you done for them?

So, we should jail jaywalkers then? That's a misdemeanour. How about littering? My family is military. Don't try to play that card on me, Angie. They choose to protect. Just as the President chooses to steal children from their families. What if it was your kid?

Was in the military for 8 yrs, & I'm still grateful for those who volunteer. But illegals continue to break our immigration laws every day... and will NEVER stop. (Costs US taxpayers $100 BILLION+ a year in crime, med care, social services, etc.) So what's the answer??

3/3 A better way is to make migration to the USA easier in exchange for certain work Americans aren't willing to do themselves (fruit picking etc). This allows both the tracking of individuals and proper taxation to take place. People with jobs commit fewer crimes.
