        At Brown 30 yrs ago, reviewed NIH multi-million epidemiologic training grants. Famous university sent a "trust us" application w/o data/justification. I didn't. NIH was pissed it wasn't funded - System favors low-risk proposals by established researchershttps://nyti.ms/2yE5eMv

        Is there any field of human endeavour that isn't viewed through the prism of skin colour? Are people concerned about the shifting efficacy of research, or whether funding models are distortive re: allocative efficiency? Or just skin colour?
