How big a deal is a trade war with China? It depends very much on which products you are talking about.https://nyti.ms/2to6DSm

If we take under consideration that a lot of supply comes from China to be assembled in America!!! Manufacturers still have supplies they got before... watch what is going to happen with jobs and manufacturing when they will start to buy with new tariff!!!

While we don't know which American products will be hit the hardest during this trade war, I still cannot help but wonder about ripple effects throughout the economy.

What about the countervailing tariffs from Canada, Mexico, the EU, India and more? Trump's tariffs are making the US uncompetitive. Soon job loss will start. Trump has painted himself into a corner and he will let the USA economy go down the tubes rather than back down.pic.twitter.com/StD5n8rGmh

It’s time for this President to fix imbalance that exists in world for American made products who get huge tariffs in other country’s when foreign made products get a free handout and entry into US! Shocked that previous presidents never acted! Be tough at first but must be done!

Its a very big deal & its more at stake than the inconvenience of a trade war. How about exposing all the tariffs & regulations the Chinese communists have in place. A trade war with the US is the last thing the Chinese economy needs now. They can forget 2025-30 and even 3025

Big picture, One Belt One Road is a multi-decade strategy. The Trump "trade war" is a shortsighted PR stunt. Trump has basically conceded the dominance of Asia, the Caspian region and much of Africa to the Chinese.
