For the past 3 years, she hasn’t been able to keep anything down. There’s no evidence of a parasitic infection, and her liver, pancreas and kidneys are functioning normally. Her doctors don’t know what’s going on. Have you heard of these symptoms?https://nyti.ms/2tlH0ld

@LisaSandersMD I just submitted a hypothesis and recommendation that I think is worth considering. I've seen it help other people with unusual GI symptoms and Multi-System constellations.

@UpperRoomRE I'm saddened to hear of the suffering that she's gone through. Sounds frustrating and taxing. I thought of something that I think would be worth a try, especially in light of typical tests being normal.

also while there are several interesting hypotheses that others have suggested on twitter, I'm sorry that there are many trolls out there that don't have human decency to respect other people's suffering. Hang in there, don't lose hope

There was a somatic disorder I read about once. It’s usually trauma related. The family I knew that had a child that’s went through it had every test done, but it turned out to be related to the stress of her parents leaving her and breaking up.

It well could be. When my mother got really sick, my daughter started having a lot of trouble eating and started having panic attacks. One day later when my mom got better she confessed it was all related to her fear of my mom dying

So disheartening to see some of the replies. When you’re desperate you turn wherever you can. Social media forums have been extremely helpful in that you have access to the world. Maybe someone will see this & have information that could be key. Prayers for an answer 🙏🏼

Lyme? Bartonella? Some people, I've heard, do well on monolaurin and teasel herb. She should ask her natural health physician. It seems only the CDC recognizes chronic lyme, and lyme coinfections.

In no way does the CDC recognise "chronic lyme". https://www.cdc.gov/lyme/postlds/index.html …

What's even worse - what if these events are brought on by a Neurological misfire - like a sneeze-reflex - don't just consider a biological/parasitical causation... Best wishes!
