As a democracy shouldn't we want 100% voter turnout?

I wish people would protect the right to vote with as much vinegar as they do gun laws.

Extremely #FakeNews you need an ID to do almost everything in this country, including get government benefits. Secondly, Alabama offers free voting IDs, you don't need a DMV. State agencies travel around the state signing people up for them.

In some states you need to show your ID to buy allergy medicine. Why is it radical to show one to elect the ppl who write our laws?

After passing the law here, Republicans went on to close offices where you can obtain id's specifically targeting African-American communities. And our representatives boasted they were doing it to suppress the vote so there's that.

It was overturned when it was discovered that the Republican governor's mistress was lobbying to specifically target African-American communities. The governor didn't want anymore attention on the relationship and squashed it.

@Republicans own the Supreme Court and that ruling was to make it easy for the Republicans to get more votes. Supreme Court used to be the most righteous Court in the land, now they are the most corrupt because he Republican Party made it like them.
