In Opinion A blue line was painted through a tightly knit town to show support for the police. Instead, it divided the community.https://nyti.ms/2ypmODR

Well, gee. Maybe if the cops weren't so intent on MURDERING CITIZENS, such a thing wouldn't DIVIDE the citizens. 🤷‍♀️

I guess I'm failing to understand why people push so hard against blm. The idea is basic my life is of value, its unfortunate that police are the antagonist here but they are I know we all wanna think we can trust the cops but black people generally can't. That's the problem.

No one said "blue lives matter" until people were saying "black lives matter". Also, no one said "white power" until people were saying "black power". Even though not every cop is white, "Blue lives matter" is still just another reactionary racist rallying cry.

I have and always will support the police. If the police are chasing you/you are running from them and they shoot you (armed or unarmed), it is justified - regardless of color. Sorry - people don’t run unless they are guilty.

Bullshit. People run from cops because they're afraid of them. People don't trust cops. And for good reason.
