Better if 48 to play 6 team pods so 8 groups. Then the #2 & #3 in each pod play knockout round to get to 16 & normal final 16. Play games 1 day sooner in knockout round & expand rosters & double sub #'s

The World Cup has already been ruined by going to 32 teams and even 24 was too much. The standard of play has been very poor so far. It’s only about racking in the money, pleasing dictators and selling beer #AMF

Why reward Putin who is a threat to all democracy with The World Cup? To feed the corrupt FIFA Profiteering machine. Reward countries who are not a threat to global peace.

I hope it doesn’t happen- 48 teams just seems too many too- it will lose the exclusivity of making to the cup

Going to 48 may be the worst idea ever. 6-10 teams will most likely be embarrassments and will simply water down the competetiveness. Absolutely hate that FIFA is doing this. #failidea #MoneyOverLogic
