I think I’m the only person on the planet who doesn’t care for Harry Potter. I could never get into it, and by now I’m tired of the mega corporation it’s become. However, I do credit @jk_rowling for helping my daughter fall in ❤️ with books back in the day.

JKRowling couldn't get published until they thought it was a male writing the books. May your daughter know a more equal world. Such talents are missed daily because of misogyny.

Please don’t misunderstand me. JK is of course an incredible woman with epic talent who is a legend. Her success is a testament to the strength of the human spirit. However, I’m entitled not care for her books. Whenever I express this it’s always met with dismay! 🤷‍♀️

I'm NOT attacking you, WOAH I simply stated a fact on misogyny. You took that to mean something else.

I never implied you were attacking me. This is a case of “Twitter misunderstanding.” Yes, I agree her books might not have been published if her gender were disclosed. Have a great evening 🌹

As if books need this sort of shit to make them immersive.

Sometimes I lose myself in a good book and then be scared in my own home, double checking doors and windows.

I wrote a roll play book, I was 18, mowing lawns. Mrs Anderson was my neighbor, mid 40’s former Hartford Hellions cheerleader. Let me tell you, that lawn was perfect every week. That got me more work. I was a success in business.
