I don’t know why I feel that #Trump (as a businessman) has came (as a U.S president) to settle his accounts with all those who harassed him in his businesses.

That's why he's trying to gut the Fair Housing Act of 1968. He and his Dad were convicted and heavily fined under it. He is all about revenge.

You bet. Best way to know Trump is to study his mentor and former attorney (who was also McCarthy's during McCarthyism) Roy Cohn. Who was disbarred but died of AIDS 6 weeks later.

Yes, i am just analyzing his actions in the light of his history (as a businessman) and his previous TV interviews. I don’t think that he changed much from being a businessman, so he managing the U.S future by mentality of a businessman rather than a politics man.

So I think the U.S will lose a lot because business calculations differ than policy calculations.

It is better for the US to be on the same side with China as it will benefit both in terms of economy and industry. China is too big a country to be defeated by sanctions etc. China never asks anyone for help at any time. Measure China with this standard.

China, as usual, takes the long view. Their Belt & Road initiative will create ties throughout Asia and elsewhere that will assure their success and dominance. What is the US doing? Withdrawing from the world and creating trade wars we won’t win. Why? Trump’s ego.
