Two weeks ago I walked into a store in the mall. Two women were walking towards me holding hands. As soon as it registered in my mind, a smile broke across my face. I used to oppose same sex relationships, but in that moment I realized I've come to not only accept but appreciate.

Whenever I see a gay couple walking hand-in-hand, I can't help but do a weird supportive smile that almost certainly comes off as creepy. It's all I can do to resist a thumbs up gesture. 👍

Imagine that people like us do not feel uncomfortable because people are holding hands, regardless of their gender... or quantity. Maybe it's time to begin to understand that those who must change are just a few and not all the others that are different to you, do not you think?

Why should their feeling be any different than any other young person who is (or thinks they are) in love. #stopcreatingdivides

This is harder than you can imagine. For 20 years we’ve never been affectionate around our parents and we have a selected group of friends we are comfortable around. 3 to be exact in 2018🤷🏼‍♀️
