One mother fled El Salvador with her 2 young children after their father, a gang member, violently threatened to take them away from her. She was hoping to cross into the U.S. when she learned about the new separation policy. “What bad luck,” she said.https://nyti.ms/2yplO2B

US should stop all direct foreign aid payments to El Salvador and other countries that do not clean up their corruption and crime. Moving their citizens to the US so they can continue to pocket foreign aid dollars and allow organized crime is not acceptable @realDonaldTrump

Should stop foreign aid period until we are fit as a country. We are far from it. There are parts of America that look and operate like a third world country. That’s unacceptable.

No where in US law is threat of child suffering used as a deterrent for their parents behavior.

That's not how US amnesty provisions and legislation work, or international human rights protocols either. But we get it, you dont know or care about those sorts of things.

You know what else isn’t legal, crossing the border illegally and if you’re arrested, just claim asylum.

Asylum to flee domestic violence is not a reason for entry. Violence is all over the world. We simply cannot take all victims in. Good that word of child separation is making responsible parents second guess illegal immigration. It’s working.
